At last, 15 years after the last album, The Grape return to make their follow up. The Return Of The Noble Grape was a fascinating, joyous
experience, working with brilliant musicians - Ali Greenlaw, Damian Grant and Mickey Simmonds - who took some solo ramblings and fleshed them out into fully

This album I was very excited about when I was writing and recording it, basically back to back with The Butterfly Crush, but the type of song
was giving me the impression that I needed to refine the production somewhat. They needed a cleaner, more professional approach as against the self-produced,
garage album effect of Butterfly.

The second in a (so far) trilogy of recordings at Percy's Studios, Wollaston written and recorded in 2005. "The Butterfly Crush" followed directly from the recording of "Tales", but in a larger "band" style.

This album, finished in Aug 2004, was intimately recorded at Percy's Studios in Wollaston, and is an acoustic journey echoing many of the singer/songwriter influences, of the early 70's English folk scene.

The Constant Fight With Contentment album (N2K)
Produced by Mickey Simmonds, and featuring Mickey Moody on guitars, Gary Barnacle on saxes, Sid Gauld on horns, this was the culmination of 4 years writing, and frustration at not getting it recorded.
