At last, 15 years after the last album, The Grape return to make their follow up. The Return Of The Noble Grape was a fascinating, joyous experience, working with brilliant musicians - Ali Greenlaw, Damian Grant and Mickey Simmonds - who took some solo ramblings and fleshed them out into fully formed pop performances.

This album I was very excited about when I was writing and recording it, basically back to back with The Butterfly Crush, but the type of song was giving me the impression that I needed to refine the production somewhat. They needed a cleaner, more professional approach as against the self-produced, garage album effect of Butterfly.
